Richard,
When you upholstered my grandparent's sofa that goes back to 1957 earlier this year, you did an amazing job! The previous design had a tufted back and a very deep seat. With the new design of a flat back with 3 buttons strategically placed and the new cashew velvet fabric, it is very comfortable and looks fabulous!
My daughter Ashley always commented that the previous designed sofa was so uncomfortable and ugly in the dark green velvet. She was stunned when she sat on the new upholstered sofa that you created and claimed, "Mom, I love this new sofa! It is so comfortable! Where did you buy it?" and was informed that it is my grandparents sofa! And a special thank you for making at no extra charge, two decorative pillows with the extra fabric. You go over and beyond and it shows in your work. It is your attention to detail that makes your work outstanding and worth the wait. Kandis at Cabot House was right when she recommended you for the job!
When your son delivered the sofa, I asked if a cover bench type seat could be made for an old cedar chest I have from another grandmother. Your son took the measurements and went back to the shop to run the job by you. When I visited your shop to review the various materials for this new project, I could not find a fabric that would satisfy my needs. You suggested I shop around for a fabric I liked and bring it to you when I was ready. Upon finding a fabric, I returned to the shop to get your approval that the fabric was appropriate for the project. As always, you had many big projects going on and said you will fit it in somewhere. Well, even though it was a small project for you, but a big one for me, you found the time to fit it into your hectic schedule. WITHOUT EVER SEEING THE CEDAR CHEST or having a picture of the design you created from our discussion a beautiful bench seat with skirt that PERFECTLY FITS for a good price! Your attention to detail and creativity is amazing! Thank you so very much! It was worth the wait! Of course, visiting you at the shop and petting the puppies, along with our great conversations will be missed until our next project! Thank you so very much!
Regards, Cheryl B.
